Klais coffee shop & bistro

Klais coffee shop, a brilliant cafe with very friendly staff. Came in today near closing time, picked a stickly toffee cake to take out, the lady was very patient and sorted me out with a ginormous piece for £4.25. I took it home and tasted it, yep these people make damn fine cakes, moist (and this was at the end of the day) and giving such large pieces, throwing the competition out on their bums!! Will definitely come back as these guys tick all the right boxes. Thank you, and please, please don't change. Went here yesterday 16 July 2025, and sat in for a meal,had the omelette with cheese, mushroom and spinach, lovely! Presented well and enjoyed it. Staff were pleasant and efficient. I have been a few times, mainly just for drinks, although I have tried their rosemary fries and they are delicious. The matcha teas both hot and cold are delicious. I have also been treated to a cocktail. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Nice selection of homemade cakes on display but I have not tried them. The food menu offers a good choice for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

I've visited Klais a couple of times for cocktails/cake and it's always had a lovely vibe so I organised for our work team to go there for a colleagues retirement celebration. We opted for the grazing boards, which was clearly an amazing choice! Definitely something a little different to afternoon tea. There was 15 of us and there were four tables between us each with a beautifully arranged grazing platter. There was so much to choose from - sandwiches, wraps, cheese, cold meats, fruit, crackers, cakes etc. I had the pleasure of watching Charlotte set up the boards and her attention to detail was amazingly artistic...not to mention the food tasted incredible! Our colleague who was retiring isn't one for going "out out" but we wanted to make a fuss of her and this was the perfect way to do so. Low-key, chilled but such gorgeous vibes and surroundings! Charlotte and her team were amazing and constantly interacted with us and made sure all our needs were met. The communication before the event was really good too. It was lovely to meet Charlotte and I look forward to visiting Klais more often for many different occasions. Thank you so much x

We had a lovely lunch at Klais on a weekday. When we walked in around lunchtime, there were seats available and we were seated shortly after. The café was bright and clean. The food was great, and I really loved the coffee. So glad we found this spot during our stay in Little Sutton!

We enjoyed the brand new Dinner menu at Klais and absolutely loved it! Paired with a crisp glass of white wine and a great cocktail for my sister, we had the best time! An absolute gem In Little Sutton.

Our first time...won't be our last! In the local area and wanted brekky and our coffee fix...and this is perfect. Good service, good food, and a good vibe...what's not to like? Parking very close by to. See you again next weekend Klais team!

Just arrived to Chester from mexico and this was my first stop. I totally loved EVERYTHING. Food, price, service and location. The guys were totally nice and kind.
